When considering the project that I was to attempt much thought and deep symbolism was input. The dagger appeared many times during the play so I put it on the poster. It is a theme of death, evil and sin. Another symbol I depicted was blood. Blood is a theme of evil and sin. When ever there is evil in the play there is blood to. When Macbeth sheds others blood sin has been committed. When Macbeth kills blood is shed and it builds up into a pool that haunts him. The blood on Macbeth’s hand is sin that can not be washed away, which drives him into insanity. The blood on the title “Macbeth” represents the sin that follows him where’re he goes. This sin has covered his clean, white, pure soul and tainted its existence. The next symbol is the witches shown as a devil and an angel. The witches equivocation is what is displayed they say one thing that sounds good but it turns out to be evil. The witches are the initiators of evil but like in the picture they are merely voices guiding Macbeth. He was always free, it just became harder to get out of the pit of sin when he kept digging it deeper. He always had his free agency he was just too susceptible to temptation. The last symbol is darkness, darkness prevails throughout the play. Darkness has always stood for evil and death. Every important theme and symbol has been wove into this master piece I call “Accountabiliy”.
