INTRODUCTION
I am not a psychologist by far, I have no degree in the field of psychology nor do I wish to have, I am just an everyday person that observes and analyzes the things I see. As I am writing this I am at the ripe old age of 18. To some people this may imply that I do not have any credibility in writing these things because I do not have the wisdom of age. Well, to those people I say that they should hear me out on these perceptions and continue reading, because you can not judge someone else unless you have heard their side of the story. By writing this I hope to achieve one thing and one thing only: that someone, somewhere will remember my way of seeing things. In no way do I wish to offend anyone. This is just how I see the world we live in.

I believe that age has no effect on how you perceive things. If anything you just become less credible as you get older. For instance, young children have the tendency to completely tell the truth, that is until they discover how to lie. In my observations I have noticed that parents believe the younger sibling more than the older sibling. This may be because the parents favor this child more than the older one or could it be that the younger child has more credibility because the older one has been known to tell lies from time to time. If you have seen or watched kids you know that this, in most cases, is true.

One thing about life that I never understood is pay role. It makes no sense at all. It seems to me that the more work you do the less you get paid and the less work you do the more you get paid for it. For example, my father started out working as a garbage disposal man. By this I mean that he was the guy hanging off the back of the garbage truck. He would work long days and the physical demand was just exhausting. Could you imagine doing this work in the biting cold of winter or the humid heat of the summer all day long? The pay was not very good. Currently he still is in the same business but I would say a lot further up the ladder than he used to be. He is now driving the trucks and makes substantially more than he used to. He gets to sit in an air-conditioned truck all day, not as near physically demanding as his old position. So I wonder why he gets paid more to do less. Most people would say it is because he earned his way. I somewhat believe in this to some extent, but in other cases, such as my very own, it is different.

I started out working in a fast food restaurant. I had just turned sixteen when I applied, because that was the minimum age requirement to work there. I was so excited to start making my own income. I completely hated that job. They didn’t really let me choose my work schedule the first few weeks I was there. The work was so fast paced because people wanted their food fast. I was always doing other people’s work. Believe me they did not pay me near enough to do that. Finally, I was fed up with the way I was treated and quit. My second job was working at grocery store. I enjoyed this a lot more than my first job. I chose my hours of work and I got paid more. The work there was easier plus a lot of the time I had nothing to do. I stayed at this job until suddenly the store shut down because the company believed it wasn’t making enough profit. My third job is the one I currently am at. This job is a drafting job. The actual work only takes me about one to two hours depending on the size of the job. I get paid pretty well here. I work five hours on weekdays and get something to do about once a week. So as you can imagine I have a lot of free time (which I love). I even have enough time to write this. I didn’t really earn this position at all. I never worked my way up to it. My drafting teacher handed me it. You might be thinking that I was an exceptional student so that is how I earned it, but you would be incorrect in this thought. I was the only one in my class that gave any actual effort in my work. I just enjoy this line of work and that makes it easier to complete my work.

BASIC LIFE
Life is something that confuses some people during the whole course of their life. Religion helps pacify this confusion in some people and aggravate this confusion in others. Some people are raised around their religion and accept it from the beginning, others are not. For these people who are not, the question of where and how life began poses a great influence in how they live. Some of these people find the answer, what I believe to be the truth, in god. Others that do not find this answer are left pondering for the rest of their lives about it.

I believe we go through life with one purpose. That purpose is to be discovered by yourself and therefore is different for each and every one of us. For instance, my purpose I have already discovered. It is to love my girlfriend. I discovered this one day while watching a movie at her house (I was the only person there). She had told me before about all her bad experiences with guys of the past. Some of these bothered me a bunch. This one guy mistreated her pretty badly in particular. The things he did I won’t mention but believe me I wanted to find out where he lived and rip his head off. But then I thought that wouldn’t solve anything. So I finally cooled down and thought about it. I came to the conclusion that god would be the one the one to punish him and that all I could do, and was created for, is to give her my undying love forever. I wish that every person on the earth could find his or her purpose in life.

When I speak of life I think about all the good and bad things that happen in this world. They are all part of our daily lives and in essence unavoidable. I have a deep hate almost a passion of hate towards all the evil and horrible things that occur in this world each and every day. These things are completely unnecessary in our world.

HUMAN BEHAVIOR
Human behavior varies from person to person. I believe when we are all born we do not have any evil in us at all. Our environment creates evil inside of us. Someone who is born into a family that is loving and caring will grow up to be loving and caring. Someone who is born into a family that gives no love or care or doesn’t have the time to will grow into that same kind of person. Our environment molds us into who we are today.

The decisions we make today do effect tomorrow. This is a phrase I’m sure most of you have heard. This phrase is very true. If you would chose to kill someone today indeed this decision would have a profound effect on your life tomorrow. But on a smaller scale say you are a kid and you decide to run with the bad crowd. You might make the decision to keep doing it. If so, which I have seen too many times, you might set the plot for the rest of your life. I mean that you are setting yourself up for failure. It may start innocently enough by your friend handing you a beer or cigarette. Then it becomes habit to do these things on the weekends. Then you become addicted to it and you start doing it every day. I am not saying this happens to all kids but I believe it has happened to too many I know.

The main cause for this behavior is the need for acceptance. Young teenagers are just looking to be accepted by their peers. I have still to figure out why. Maybe it is because they feel awkward and they don't want to be made fun of. Love plays a major role in this acceptance. Young girls that look for love very early in life are the result of the lack of a male figure in their life. They crave the love of a father so to make up for not having one or not seeing theirs they date older guys. Eventually they become pregnant in an attempt to keep the guy. Sometimes this works but I totally disagree with the whole situation. If guys would stand up and accept their responsibility the cycle wouldn’t continue. This cycle is an example of what I like to call the perpetual motion of life or P.M.L.

Human behavior follows the perpetual motion of life perfectly. People will act the same throughout time. I believe people will want to change but in reality it can’t be done. Drugs follow the P.M.L. They have been a good source of income for people for years. People will always consume them, so this insures a steady income for the drug dealer. A drug dealer is under the category of criminal in the P.M.L. Think about what the police would have to do without the criminal category. They would be pointless! Our society is based on a system of checks and balances. I don’t mean the way the federal government is set up. I mean that everything helps support something. This cycle will never end so we will never really change the way we live in essence. The struggle between good and evil is part of human behavior.

THE FUTURE
People always say that the future is the children. I do not believe this I believe the future is a combination of things. The future the way I see it is made of the thoughts and actions of past and present. The children will eventually effect the future when they are adults but until then they have no major effect on the future. I believe it is important to teach the children but it is even more important to insure that the decisions we make today are going to have positive effects on the future. The future is not set in stone and can be altered. Only through our actions can it be altered. If I had to say anything was the future I would say that it would be the people making decisions today.

The future holds in it the death of our world but that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be the death of mankind does it? I think that it does. We will never find fertile planet like earth. Maybe that there is one somewhere out there but it is not meant for us. I believe that our technology will become pretty advanced in the future. It will not become advanced enough to locate or reach another planet like ours. I believe this other planet probably exists but we will never locate it because it is to far away. By writing about the future in this way I am not trying to prophesize, only guess. I don’t believe that any human being can prophesize the future but I do believe a supernatural being can.

BALANCE OF NATURE
The balance of nature exists everywhere. It has since the beginning of time. If you think about just the simplest organisms such as jellyfish you can see how it works. The balance I speak of is in numbers. If you notice these jellyfish are symmetrically sound, meaning that if you were to cut them in half you would have almost equal parts. The balance consists of equal and odd numbers balancing themselves out. You are probably saying to yourself, “How could odd numbers help balance out even numbers because even numbers are already perfectly balanced?” Take the human body for example. It is beautifully symmetrical. Think about how on one hand we have five fingers, which is an odd number. If you combine it with the other five fingers on your other hand you come out with ten fingers, which is a even number. This is just one of the many ways that the balance works itself out. If you take a look around you will start to notice all of the ways this balance works. I hope that you do notice these things because it a very remarkable, but simple discovery.

EVIL
This is a subject I could probably write about forever. I really hate evil. Evil is all around us. Some people chose to just block it out and forget about it and others chose to dabble in the filth of evil. These people that chose the latter of the two options I do not hate but only wish upon them the power to change. Evil lies in every crack and every open space of the world. It is inescapable.

I think people need to be more aware of evil. Too often they accept it as a part of life. TV is becoming more and more evil everyday. Today they will almost show anything on TV. Almost every advertisement has a sex or wealth sales pitch. They have no idea the impression these ads have on the society. They leave young kids with the impression that in order to be accepted you have to look and dress a certain way. They also imply that you should be rich and famous. But most of the people who are rich and famous have serious problems. This is another part of the P.M.L. This continuos cycle almost seems to have no end. These ads need to be changed. But who will do that? I don’t think this will happen because people today are very numb when it comes to these things. They are also money hungry.

Money is not evil but the way it is used often is. I know that money is a necessary part of our society. But sometimes the things it is used for makes me sick. Money is even sometimes chosen over children. Money is used for drugs and prostitution. One thing I disagree with is how easy it is for young girls to make money as a stripper. They can only do this for so long. They usually waste the money. It is very degrading to them. Men should change their ways and learn to respect women. Stripping can lead to prostitution, which in turn could lead to death through STDs. It does not teach these girls about hard work and the benefits of it. Instead it gives them false hope that they can get rich quick. These are just a few of the evil things that occur everyday. If you would try and look for yourself you would find almost an endless list of these sorts of things.

CLOSING
When it all comes down to it I believe that humans could be very beautiful with effort. I see, everyday, people who have what may seem to some people as an appealing exterior but inside lies the ugliest behavior and personality. I seem to notice this more than other people. Either these other people don’t care about what lies beneath that exterior or they aren’t really taking a good look. It seems to me that, almost with alarming numbers, people have ugly interiors. I guess the true purpose of this writing is to get anyone anywhere to see what I see. My biggest dream is that one day everyone will be beautiful not only outside but inside, too. So, with this I leave you a question. Do you give the effort everyday to be beautiful, not only outside but also where it counts, in the inside? If not you are only contributing to the downfall of man. We could be so great if everyone achieved this.

A FEW WORDS
I am not saying that I am beautiful inside and out. I am working on it myself. It is hard in a world like ours to achieve this. It is a lot easier to give into temptation than resist. If you believe in the story of Adam and Eve you know this is true. Just think if Eve wouldn’t have eaten that apple. The whole world would have changed. But instead she gave in and took it. We only brought this upon ourselves so we are the only ones who can change it.
